Which Vastu Report Do I Need?
On this page
VastuReport.com has three products — Plot, Floor Plan, and Combined Analysis. This guide matches what you already have (a plot, a floor plan, or both) to the right one, so you don't buy a report you don't need.

Plot Report
I have a plot, but no design yet
Evaluate the land itself — shape, facing direction, extensions, cuts, streets, water and utility placement — before you commit to buying or building on it.
Floor Plan Report
I have a floor plan, apartment, or flat
Evaluate room placements — main door, kitchen, bedrooms, pooja room and more — for a specific unit or building design, whether it's a resale flat or a plan you're considering.
Combined Analysis
I have both a plot and a floor plan design
Score a plot and a floor plan together — applicable for any of these:
One plot, one floor plan
Just check how well the two fit together.
One plot, a few floor plans
Compare designs to find the best fit for that land.
One floor plan, a few plots
Compare land options to find the best fit for that design.
Still not sure?
Buying an apartment or flat?
You're evaluating a specific unit's layout, not the land it sits on — that's a Floor Plan Report.
Deciding whether to buy a piece of land?
Before any building design exists, a Plot Report evaluates the land itself — shape, facing, streets, and more.
Choosing a floor plan to build on a plot you already own (or are about to buy)?
That's exactly what Combined Analysis is for — it scores the plot and one or more floor plans together, so you can see which design actually fits that land.
Have a floor plan you like and choosing between a few plots?
Combined Analysis works the other way too — score that same design against each candidate plot to see which land suits it best. And if you already have exactly one plot and one floor plan, it's just as happy scoring that single pairing on its own.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Plot Report or a Floor Plan Report?
If you're evaluating a piece of land with no building design yet, get a Plot Report. If you're evaluating a specific apartment, flat, or house layout, get a Floor Plan Report. If you have both a plot and a design for it, use Combined Analysis instead so they're scored together.
What is Combined Analysis and when do I need it?
Combined Analysis scores a plot and a floor plan together. It works either way: compare a few floor plans against one plot to find the best design for that land, or compare a few plots against one floor plan to find the best land for that design. You can also just check a single plot-and-plan pairing.
I'm buying a resale flat — which report should I buy?
A Floor Plan Report. You're evaluating the unit's room layout and directions, not the underlying land, since that's shared with the rest of the building.
I own a plot and want to know what floor plan to build — which report?
Combined Analysis. It scores your plot together with one or more candidate floor plans so you can see which design fits that specific piece of land best.
I have a floor plan I like and I'm choosing between a few plots — which report?
Combined Analysis works the other way too — score that same floor plan against each candidate plot to see which piece of land suits it best.
